Students At Work Weeks 7-9

This Term we have been learning about our planet. We have been following the Inquiry process to research a chosen topic. Isaac is learning about Volcanoes.

We used lots of books and the Laptops to help us search for information. We needed to be use sites that had information that could be easily read by us.

This Term we have been learning how to sew using a running stitch. We practised on paper first and then moved onto hessian. We designed our own picture to sew and Miss Peterson drew it on to the hessian for us. Our job is to stitch in all the details.

Lots of us were Caught Being Good in the playground last week and we won Burger King vouchers in Assembly. We are not really eating the voucher!

 This week Harry Trott's mum came along to help us with our sewing. Thank you Mrs Trott.

This week Owen won a surprise bag from Subway for a Caught Being Good prize. Congratulation Owen. We hope you don't take a sneak peek until you get home!!

Museum Visit in Week 6

This term we have been learning about Planet Earth and how it has been shaped and formed. We visited the Museum to hear from experts about rocks, volcanoes, irrigation on the Canterbury Plains and what life is like on the sea bed. We had  lots of fun and learned so many new things about our planet.These photos show us throughout the visit.
